The Milkmaid by Johannes Vermeer

THE STORY OF TECHNOLOGY:

In 2021, through our collaboration with the National Oil Painting Museum at Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul, we developed a technology that allows us to reproduce oil paintings (3d) with a high degree of realism and transform them into souvenirs for sale in the museum shop.

As a result of this collaboration, we refined our printing technique by comparing our prints with original oil paintings over the course of a year, achieving a high level of realism.

This technique is not a simple brush intervention on a 2D print. It is not a giclée print, which is a 2D fine art print. Instead, it is a groundbreaking technique that combines various disciplines to produce a unique result. This technique uses artificial intelligence to convert a 2D artwork into a 3D form and creates a 3D print of the artwork without the need for 3D scanning. This technique belongs to KutluArt and is a result of our passion for art reproduction, our love for our work, and pushing the boundaries by understanding the combined capabilities of technology and art.

After achieving these results, we opened our ETSY shop and began offering artworks by world-renowned painters using this technique.

Some artists’ works (like Van Gogh and Monet) feature high brushstrokes and texture, while classic period paintings have a flatter character. Therefore, most of the artworks on our site were selected from those where this technique can be more pronounced.

You can order Roll, Stretched Canvas, Vintage Gold Frame or Floating Frame in 3 colors (black, gold and silver). All options have the same 3D print quality.

Roll versions come with a strong tube.

We offer free express delivery with DHL or FedEx (duty taxes are the customer’s responsibility) and a lifetime no-fading guarantee.

We guarantee 100% satisfaction.

ABOUT FRAMING AND DELIVERY:

Our frames are made of high-quality plastic profiles that resemble wood.

For our stretched canvases, we use solid spruce wood that does not warp over time. We avoid warping caused by heat and humidity to preserve the artwork.

We take care to package (MDF Boxes) your order carefully to ensure safe delivery.

Please contact us for a replacement if your order is damaged during shipping.

We ship your order on the same day (if ordered early in the morning) or the next day.

Amazing

This reproduction is amazing. I can’t believe I have a piece of art of this quality in my house.

I’ve repeatedly imagined how a peasant would feel having an original piece of artwork belong to them-- that is how I feel.

The cracks and raises in the painting are incredible and really make it feel as if it is a repainted reproduction-- but as you may know, some repaints end up looking a bit wonky. This piece has the benefit of looking like an oil painting while matching 1 to 1 with the original (I believe it is 3D printed by some method I don't understand). The only small issue I would raise is that the top right and bottom left corners of the frame are not completely together. There is about a 5 millimeter gap which is really not a big deal at all and takes nothing away from the piece. But if at all possible I would prefer those gaps closed.

Definitely will purchase another piece in the future, but I will probably be contemplating this piece for a few years before I add anything else. SO GOOD!
